Apply & track with Apply Edge- We Are Hiring – Finance Manager*Location:* Dubai, United Arab Emirates *Employment Type:* Full-Time *Position:* Finance Manager *Experience:* Minimum 5–8 Years* Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and results-driven *Finance Manager* to oversee and manage the company's financial and accounting operations.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, and financial planning.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and applicable UAE regulations, strengthening financial controls, optimizing financial performance, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.We are looking for a hands-on finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise, excellent analytical and leadership skills, and the ability to independently manage the company's finance function.* Key Responsibilities* 1. Financial Management & Accounting- Oversee and manage all day-to-day financial and accounting operations.- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.- Supervise general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounting.- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.- Ensure compliance with IFRS and established accounting policies.- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.* 2. Financial Reporting & Analysis- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.- Prepare management accounts, financial performance reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).- Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and financial performance.- Conduct budget-versus-actual analysis and investigate significant variances.- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.- Ensure financial reports are accurate, reliable, and submitted within established deadlines.* 3. Budgeting & Financial Planning- Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.- Monitor financial performance against approved budgets.- Develop cash flow projections and financial planning models.- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved profitability.- Support management in financial planning and strategic business decisions.- Evaluate financial implications of proposed investments and operational initiatives.* 4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management- Monitor and manage daily cash flow and working capital.- Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure adequate liquidity.- Oversee bank accounts, bank reconciliations, and banking transactions.- Monitor customer collections, supplier payments, and outstanding balances.- Maintain professional relationships with banks and financial institutions.- Recommend improvements to cash management and payment processes.* 5. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance- Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and other applicable regulations.- Oversee the accurate preparation and timely submission of tax returns.- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting tax documentation.- Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulatory requirements.- Coordinate with external tax consultants and relevant authorities when required.- Ensure adherence to statutory financial reporting obligations.* 6. Financial Controls & Process Improvement- Develop, implement, and maintain effective financial policies and procedures.- Establish appropriate financial controls and approval processes.- Ensure proper management and safeguarding of company assets.- Identify accounting inefficiencies and recommend improvements.- Enhance accounting systems, reporting processes, and financial workflows.- Support ERP implementation, system upgrades, and financial process automation.* 7. External Audit & Coordination- Coordinate the annual external financial audit.- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.- Respond to external auditor queries and facilitate timely audit completion.- Ensure financial statements and accounting records are properly maintained.- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, banks, and other professional parties.* 8. Finance Team Management- Supervise and manage the accounting and finance team.- Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.- Review accounting work to ensure accuracy and compliance.- Provide technical guidance and professional support to team members.- Ensure timely completion of financial reporting and accounting tasks.- Promote accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.* Qualifications & Experience* Mandatory Requirements- Minimum *5–8 years of relevant experience* in accounting and financial management.- Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Assistant Finance Manager, or similar senior accounting position.- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial statement preparation.- Practical experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.- Sound knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable financial regulations.- Strong understanding of accounting procedures and financial controls.- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.- Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational abilities.- Ability to independently manage financial operations and meet reporting deadlines.* Preferred Qualifications & Skills- Additional professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or CMA.- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Previous experience working in the UAE or GCC.- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar software.- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.- Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.* What We Offer- Competitive salary package based on qualifications and experience.- Professional development and career growth opportunities.- Supportive and professional working environment.- Opportunity to take ownership of the company's financial operations.- Exposure to financial planning and strategic business decisions.How to Apply:Qualified candidates are invited to send their updated CV to howida@darwinauditing.com , mentioning: “Finance Manager – Darwin Accounting Services” in the subject line.
