Finance Controller - A Product-based Tech Startup, BengaluruJob Summary: A leading product-based technology startup is keen to hire a Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years of post-qualification experience to support financial reporting, monthly and annual book closure audits, internal controls, and enterprise risk management. Key Responsibilities

Assist in monthly and annual financial closing and preparation of consolidated financial statements as per Ind ASReview of general ledger, books of accounts and cost analysis for optimisationPrepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve open itemsAssist in Preparing MIS and reports for audit committee, Board & investorsCoordinate with Statutory & internal auditors for timely closure of auditsPeriodic testing & documentation of internal controls, improvement initiatives and coordinating corrective actionsTracking & updating of the enterprise risk register across business functionsMonitor risk mitigation plans, timelines, ownership & preparation of risk reportsParticipate in finance transformation and scale-up initiatives

Requirements

Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation basicsProficiency in MS Excel and accounting softwareUnderstanding of SOX-like controls, IFC, or process documentationWillingness to learn and take ownership of work
