Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole PurposeThe Finance Manager will oversee the full finance function, directly managing AP, AR, and Tax, while working closely with the FP&R Manager to ensure high-quality reporting, planning, forecasting, compliance, and financial control.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementLead and develop the AP, AR, and Tax teams.Set objectives, review performance, and build team capabilities.Ensure effective coordination and handoffs across Finance.Resolve escalations and promote cross-training and business continuity.Financial Reporting & Month-End CloseOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.Review and approve reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting packages.Ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards and IFRS.Partner with FP&R on consolidated reporting and management reporting.AP, AR & Working CapitalOversee vendor payments, approval processes, and AP aging.Monitor invoicing, collections, AR aging, and bad debt provisioning.Drive improvements in working capital, including DPO and DSO.Tax & Regulatory ComplianceOversee VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, and statutory filings.Ensure compliance with Egyptian Tax Authority requirements.Manage tax audits and liaise with external auditors and regulators.Budgeting & Business PartneringPartner with FP&R on annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.Provide actionable financial insights to management.Support commercial and operational decisions through financial analysis.Controls & Process ImprovementStrengthen internal controls and segregation of duties.Drive Finance process standardization and ERP improvements.Maintain strong audit readiness and financial governance.What We’re Looking ForEducation & CertificationBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance – English Section.Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.Experience12–15+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience.At least 5 years of experience managing multi-function finance teams across areas such as AP, AR, Treasury, Tax, or FP&A.Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax law, labor law, and statutory reporting.Solid experience with IFRS / Egyptian Accounting Standards.Experience with multi-entity or regional reporting is highly desirable.Experience managing through a manager-level direct report, particularly an FP&R Manager, is a plus.Key SkillsStrong leadership and people-development capabilities.Ability to collaborate effectively while operating with appropriate ownership and accountability.Proactive mindset with strong follow-up and initiative.Fluent English, written and spoken.Advanced Excel skills.Strong Oracle/ERP experience.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.High integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgment in regulatory and audit environments.
