leadership and North America Supply Chain Finance leadershipRole Summary:Title: Finance Manager II – Supply ChainReports To: Director, North America Supply Chain FinanceLocation: Northwest HoustonWork Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days in office or at supported plant locations and 2 days working from homeTravel: Travel to supported manufacturing facilities, primarily throughout Texas; plant visits count toward the 3-day in-person scheduleTeam Scope: Lead approximately 3–5 direct reports, including one Manager and 2–4 Senior Financial Analysts who may be remotely based at the manufacturing facilities they supportPrimary Focus: Provide financial leadership and strategic decision support across a cluster of manufacturing plants while leading the planning, forecasting, month-end close, financial controls, cost analysis, capital investment, and performance management processes for the regionKey Responsibilities:Serve as the primary Finance business partner for multiple manufacturing facilities across the Southern Supply Chain networkLead and develop a team of Finance professionals, including a Manager and Senior Financial Analysts located across supported plant locationsLead monthly close, forecasting, and annual planning processes across the supported manufacturing networkAnalyze financial performance and explain variances to plan, forecast, and prior-year resultsPartner with plant and operations leadership to understand key business drivers and improve financial and operational performanceProvide decision support that helps drive cost savings, operating efficiency, financial metric improvement, and profitable growthMaintain strong financial controls across the manufacturing network, including compliance with SOX, U.S. GAAP, corporate policies, inventory controls, and capital expenditure requirementsSupport capital project analysis and investment decisions, including ROI, payback, and cost savings analysisConnect operational initiatives to financial outcomes and provide leadership with actionable insights into plant performanceWork cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiativesIdentify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve financial workflows and reporting processesLeverage financial systems, analytics, and data to improve decision support and operating visibilityProvide leadership around cost accounting, inventory, manufacturing expenses, and other plant-related financial activitiesSupport special projects and ad hoc financial analysis for Supply Chain Finance and senior leadershipTravel to manufacturing facilities to build strong relationships with plant teams and maintain firsthand understanding of the operations being supportedIdeal Candidate Profile:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required8–10+ years of progressive Finance and/or Accounting experiencePrevious people leadership and supervisory experience requiredSupply Chain Finance experience within a company that manufactures physical goods requiredStrong manufacturing finance experience with an understanding of plant operations and the financial drivers of a manufacturing environmentStrong foundational accounting knowledge, including journal entries, debits and credits, P&L, balance sheet, and month-end and quarter-end close processesCost accounting and manufacturing accounting experience highly preferredStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX, inventory controls, and financial control environmentsDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and serve as an effective internal business partner to plant managers, operations leaders, and other functional leadershipStrong leadership philosophy with a genuine interest in coaching, mentoring, and developing team membersExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence leaders across multiple locations and functionsProven ability to drive financial performance, influence management, and lead organizational changeStrong history of process improvement, project management, and critical thinkingStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate operational activity into meaningful financial insightsComfortable working across multiple systems and large data environmentsSAP, Power BI, Hyperion, and BlackLine experience preferredMBA, CPA, or CMA preferredLean, Six Sigma, TPM, or related continuous improvement knowledge is a plusCareer-growth focused individual who is interested in continuing
