Finance Manager (Intl Operations - Indonesia Focus)

Our client is an international business group with operations spanning multiple markets. They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with strong Indonesian market expertise to oversee financial operations, regulatory compliance, taxation and reporting across several jurisdictions, while helping establish and develop the group's UAE operations.ResponsibilitiesManage daily finance and accounting across the UAE, India, and Indonesia.Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for business planning.Coordinate with local finance teams, auditors, and tax advisers to ensure accuracy.Standardise accounting procedures, reporting frameworks, and financial controls.Consolidate multi-entity data for clear, accurate group reporting.Oversee financial compliance, tax administration, and statutory accounting in Indonesia.Apply Indonesian tax rules, including corporate tax, VAT (PPN), withholding tax (PPh), and statutory filings.Maintain relationships with Indonesian tax advisers, accountants, and government bodies.Support entity setup, intercompany arrangements, and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with Indonesian financial laws and statutory obligations.Oversee cross-border finance across the UAE, India, Indonesia, and other markets.Manage intercompany and related-party transactions and transfer pricing records.Manage international fund transfers, banking relationships, and foreign exchange transactions.Work with external specialists to optimise international tax structures.Monitor group liquidity, cash flow, and working capital needs.Oversee finance for global trading, e-commerce, and consumer goods operations.Ensure accurate recording of inventory, product costs, shipping, and customs expenses.Analyse revenue, margins, costs, and profitability.Support business cases, pricing, and financial planning for new markets.Build the finance and accounting framework for the new UAE business.Oversee tax registrations, VAT, corporate tax, banking, and statutory filings.Implement bookkeeping software, reporting workflows, and internal controls.Manage relationships with banks, auditors, advisers, and service providers.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is advantageous.5 - 10 years’ practical experience in finance management and accounting.Professional experience in Indonesian finance, accounting, or tax is essential.Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax, statutory, and financial reporting requirements.Proven ability to manage finance across multiple jurisdictions.Experience in global trade, e-commerce, FMCG, consumer goods, or international distribution is preferred.Knowledge of UAE and Indian accounting and tax practices is advantageous.Advanced Excel, financial modelling, and accounting or ERP skills, with strong English communication and stakeholder-management abilities.Experience working with finance professionals, consultants, and external specialists in Indonesia.PreferredFinance specialist with Indonesian market experience, ideally in a multinational or multi-entity organisation.Indian candidates with practical experience in Indonesia’s financial and regulatory environment are welcome.Based in the UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai.Adaptable in a fast-growing organisation and able to build financial systems and procedures from scratch.Proactive, commercially minded, and confident working independently with senior leadership.This is a unique opportunity to join a leading international business group and work directly with senior management, helping establish its UAE operations while overseeing financial activities across India, Indonesia, and other international markets.
