The role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality and F&B industry in UAE, with particular focus on cost control, inventory management, and profitability analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & ReportingOversee the full accounting cycle for both restaurant operations.Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations to management.Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital requirements.Monitor profitability by outlet, department, and revenue stream.Tax ComplianceManage all UAE VAT compliance, filings, reconciliations, and audits.Lead UAE Corporate Tax compliance and reporting requirements.Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.Monitor developments in UAE tax legislation and assess business impact.Audit & External Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary liaison with external auditors.Coordinate annual statutory audits and financial reviews.Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and recommendations.Maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.Operational Finance & Cost ControlMonitor Food Cost %, Beverage Cost %, and Labour Cost %.Review daily sales, cash reconciliations, and revenue reports.Oversee inventory controls, stock counts, and variance analysis.Identify revenue leakages and opportunities for cost optimization.Analyze menu engineering, contribution margins, and outlet profitability.Establish and improve internal controls and approval processes.Leadership & Business SupportProvide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis.Develop financial KPIs and management dashboards.Mentor and supervise accounting and finance team members.Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.Candidate ProfileEssential RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ACA, or CMA.Minimum 7-10 years of finance experience.Minimum 3-5 years in hospitality, restaurants, nightlife, or luxury F&B operations.Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.Proven experience managing external audits.Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Fluent English.Preferred RequirementsPrevious experience in Dubai hospitality or restaurant groups.Experience managing multiple outlets or business units.Experience with hospitality accounting systems and POS integrations.Experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, nightlife, or entertainment-driven F&B concepts.Arabic language skills are an advantage.
