About Stop Killing GamesStop Killing Games is a global consumer-rights movement fighting the practice of publishers destroying video games that players have already purchased. When a publisher shuts down a game's servers and provides no way to keep it running, a product customers paid for stops existing. Our campaign has drawn support from over a million people worldwide and has pushed the issue onto the agenda of regulators and legislators in Europe and the United States. SKG Action, Inc. is the 501(c)(4) organization driving that work in the US, including advocacy for state and federal digital-ownership legislation. We are a small, fast-moving team with an unusually large and engaged community behind us.The RoleWe have the audience. We need someone to build the revenue engine that makes the campaign durable. This role owns every dollar SKG raises outside of institutional grants, globally, and has the freedom to build the systems from the ground up.Merchandise. Own and grow our online store. Expand the product line, run drops and campaigns tied to organizing moments, manage global fulfillment and margins, and turn merch from a supporter perk into a reliable revenue line.Membership. Design and launch a recurring-giving membership program for our community. Set the tier structure and benefits, build the onboarding and retention flows, and grow monthly recurring revenue.Sponsorships. Identify, pitch, and close high-dollar sponsorships and institutional partnerships. Manage the full cycle from prospect research through negotiation, activation, and renewal.New revenue. Pursue additional revenue wherever it exists: creator-driven fundraising, events and livestream fundraisers, licensing, affiliate and platform partnerships, and major individual gifts.Infrastructure and reporting.
