CB Capital Limited emphasizes transparent reporting, strong governance, and a professional work environment that supports long-term career growth for finance professionals.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ASSISTANT MANAGER/MANAGER (FINANCE) role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as monitoring cash flows and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and internal policies. The individual will support investment and portfolio performance analysis, prepare management reports, and provide financial insights to guide strategic decisions. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing accounting entries, coordinating audits, optimizing internal controls, and working closely with other teams to maintain accurate financial records. The role also requires participation in process improvement initiatives, contributing to policies that strengthen financial discipline and operational efficiency. The role may require the individual to be re-deployed to other related entities or perform functions for some related entities within and outside Nigeria.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in any discipline; professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) are an added advantage. Candidates without professional certification must be at advanced level in their exams.3-5 years post NYSC experience. At least 3 years should be with a reputable audit firm.Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge/skill is compulsory.Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit coordination. Exceptional knowledge of double entry accounting principle is compulsory.Ability to interpret investment and portfolio performance data and support decision-making.Experience with financial modeling tools and relevant finance or accounting software.Sound knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations and SEC requirements is an advantage.Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Understanding of IFRS.Demonstrated ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
