Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you'll support a portfolio of business units by managing customer invoicing, debtor collections, financial reporting and general ledger activities while providing finance support to operational stakeholders. You'll join a collaborative finance team where you'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships across the organisation, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and play an important role in supporting informed business decisions through accurate financial information. ResponsibilitiesGenerate accurate customer invoices and manage end-to-end debtor administrationProactively follow up outstanding debtor balances and maintain strong customer relationshipsPrepare financial reports and extract data to support analysis and business reportingAssist with month-end processes, including journals and general ledger activitiesSupport the integrity of financial records and maintain finance registersRespond to finance-related queries from internal stakeholders and business unitsAssist the Finance Business Partner with reporting, costing and financial analysisMaintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and proceduresContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and finance process enhancementsBuild strong working relationships across finance and operational teams to deliver high-quality financial supportCandidate Profile You will have previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or similar finance role, with exposure to billing, accounts receivable, debtor management and financial reporting. You're comfortable working with large volumes of financial data, have strong attention to detail and enjoy producing accurate work within tight deadlines. You'll be confident using financial systems and Excel, have excellent communication skills and enjoy partnering with stakeholders across the business to resolve queries and improve financial outcomes. Experience with TechnologyOne or a similar ERP system, along with exposure to month-end processes, general ledger activities and not-for-profit organisations, will be highly regarded.
