Acting as the main point of contact for high-level financial discussions alongside the Head of Finance, you will collaborate with global controllers to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, transfer pricing, and emerging international tax frameworks.Key Responsibilities1. Joint Venture & Project LeadershipLead JV Finance Operations: Act as the dedicated finance lead for all Joint Venture initiatives, driving financial alignment between partners and ensuring that JV operations remain compliant with group standards and local regulations.Strategic Cost Structuring: Design, model, and implement robust cost structures and equity frameworks for new and existing JVs; focus on optimizing profitability, tax efficiency, and transparent resource allocation.Stakeholder Management & Liaison: Serve as the primary financial interface for external partners and internal leadership; support the Head of Finance by providing data-driven insights for strategic negotiations and high-level decision-making.2. Financial Oversight & RegulationGlobal Project Monitoring: Maintain end-to-end oversight of all finance-related projects across the company, with a rigorous focus on regulated sites to ensure all financial activities meet stringent jurisdictional requirements and internal health metrics.Regional & Regional Collaboration: Partner closely with Country Financial Controllers to standardize and streamline Transfer Pricing documentation, ensuring intercompany agreements are defensible and aligned with global tax strategies.3. Tax Compliance & ImplementationRegulatory Framework Integration: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Indirect Taxes and emerging reporting directives, specifically CARF (Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework) and DAC8, ensuring all regulated entities are fully compliant within required deadlines.Pillar 2 Coordination & Strategy: Collaborate with external auditors and global tax partners to conduct impact assessments, financial modeling, and the final implementation of the Global Minimum Tax (Pillar 2) framework.Ad-hoc Technical Advisory: Execute specialized financial analyses and handle strategic ad-hoc tasks as required to support the evolving needs of the global finance function.4. Strategic ProjectsHigh-Priority Initiatives: Drive the financial workstream for critical assignments, including ERP upgrades for tax automation, M&A financial integration, regulated site risk tracking, and treasury optimization for global partnerships.Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 7+ years in Senior Finance roles, ideally within cryptocurrency exchange or highly regulated environment.Technical Expertise: Understanding of international tax (Transfer Pricing, Pillar 2) and European reporting standards (DAC8).Project Management: Proven track record in structuring Joint Ventures or large-scale project finance.Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills; ability to translate complex financial regulations into actionable business insights.Soft Skills & Leadership AttributesExecutive Presence: Ability to represent the Finance department in high-stakes meetings and provide concise updates to non-finance stakeholders.Negotiation & Influence: Skilled at navigating differing partner priorities to reach consensus on cost structures and reporting.Strategic Problem Solving: A proactive mindset focused on proposing scalable solutions for emerging compliance risks.Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Adept at working with global controllers across various time zones and jurisdictions.Resilience & Adaptability: Comfortable leading through ambiguity and evolving regulatory standards.
