Finance Officer - UAE National (Emiratisation)

General Overview:We are hiring for our client, a leading insurance organisation, seeking a driven and detail-oriented Finance professional to join its Finance function in Dubai. This opportunity is suited to UAEN looking to build or further develop their career across finance, reporting, internal controls, audit support and regulatory compliance.The successful candidate will work closely with experienced finance and governance professionals, gaining broad exposure to financial processes, audit activities, reporting and process improvement within a structured and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support finance and internal audit activities under the guidance of senior team members.Assist with the preparation of audit reports, management reports and financial documentation.Review financial records and operational processes to support accuracy, compliance and effective controls.Assist with quarterly reporting, fraud risk assessments and internal control reviews.Support regulatory compliance initiatives, audit coordination and related documentation.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and strengthening of internal controls.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance, audit, compliance and governance activities.Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements, financial practices and industry developments.

Key Requirements

Emirati with FamiIy Book.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.0–2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit or a related function.Fresh graduates and candidates with some relevant professional experience are welcome to apply.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Good communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Strong willingness to learn, develop and build a long-term career within the Finance function.Previous experience within the insurance or financial services sector is an advantage.
