Joining Flowdesk means you will be a key contributor in building and scaling a more transparent and efficient financial markets infrastructure.We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the monthly management and annual statutory reporting close of key group entities, as well as assisting with group consolidated reporting. You will be working closely with the group finance team and other key senior stakeholders in the wider company, as well as external partners and advisers.Key ResponsibilitiesEfficiently produce accurate monthly management accounts for assigned Group entities, ensuring comprehensive financial oversight and control. Assist with other group entities as requiredEnsure all financial elements (Assets, Liabilities, Income, and Expenditure) are correctly accounted for within a robust control environmentManage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and collecting outstanding paymentsPrepare and process journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including maintaining the general ledger, chart of accounts, and supporting schedulesDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsEnsure compliance with Statutory, Regulatory, and Tax obligationsLead year end statutory accounts and audit, liaising with external parties as neededRequirementsBackground and experienceFully qualified Accountant with 5 years PQEIn depth technical knowledge of IFRS Experience with audit engagementsAwareness of regulatory and compliance landscapes, with the opportunity to build knowledge specific to both trading and cryptoStrong skills and experience with accounting systems, ideally NetSuite, and advanced skills with Microsoft and/or Google productsEnglish language proficiency is mandatorySkills And PersonalityStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and handle multiple projects, often under tight time constraintsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsCompany Culture & ValuesTake Action & Own the MissionBe of Service & ContributeInnovate, Create Value, & Be CourageousAct with Integrity & RespectBenefitsInternational environment (English is the main language)Health insurance employee + legal dependentsTeam events and offsitesOur process is consistent across all roles and is designed to assess genuine technical depth.
