Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing operational frameworks that foster clarity and efficiency; planning migrations that bring together disparate finance functions into one cohesive unit; leading SAP implementation efforts; overseeing financial close activities; resolving complex cross-country issues; maintaining rigorous controls; preparing insightful management reports; tracking performance metrics; recruiting top talent; nurturing their development; and championing ongoing process improvements. Success in this role requires you to be proactive in engaging stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions while balancing technical excellence with empathetic team leadership. Your ability to connect teams through shared goals will ensure seamless transitions during migrations while your commitment to quality will uphold high standards throughout every aspect of financial operations.Design the target operating model for the Centre of Excellence, establishing clear process ownership and comprehensive service catalogues tailored to each country's requirements.Plan and execute the migration of transactional accounting processes from local finance teams into the shared service centre, including thorough documentation, knowledge transfer sessions, and post-migration stabilisation activities.Lead the accounting workstream for ERP implementation by aligning chart of accounts, managing master data structures, overseeing process design, and conducting user acceptance testing.Take responsibility for month-end and year-end close activities for all in-scope entities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable sub-ledger closures, intercompany reconciliations and settlements, accruals, and provisions.Act as the escalation point for country-specific invoice and payment processing issues by navigating local documentation requirements and approval workflows with sensitivity to cultural differences.Maintain robust control environments over transactional processes while supporting both internal and external audit requests with timely information and documentation.Prepare and validate management reporting packages including overhead analysis and budget-versus-actual commentary for regional management teams.Report on Centre of Excellence performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs to ensure transparency and drive improvements across all serviced entities.Recruit, develop, mentor, and manage a team of ten accountants while building succession depth in each process area through targeted training initiatives.Drive continuous improvement by standardising processes, automating workflows where possible, and maintaining detailed process documentation. What you bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields is required to ensure foundational knowledge for this role.Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent (including CPA Vietnam) is preferred for advanced technical competence.8-10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least three years operating within multi-entity international environments demonstrates your ability to navigate complexity.Proven track record in transitioning finance processes into Shared Service Centres or Centres of Excellence or leading major centralisation projects shows your adaptability.Demonstrated leadership in team management including talent acquisition and performance development highlights your nurturing approach.Experience with ERP implementations or migrations is essential for success in this transformation-focused position.Advanced expertise in transactional accounting reconciliations and financial close management across international jurisdictions ensures accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook) is required while familiarity with Power BI is advantageous for reporting purposes.Full professional fluency in written and spoken English enables effective communication across diverse teams.
