As a Finance Transformation Manager (ERP & Finance Systems) you will lead the migration of ATOM's finance landscape from the current environment - ATOM FICA, the Billing Engine and SAP ERP - to a modern, scalable target architecture. Reporting to the Head of Product & Delivery, you will act as the bridge between Finance and Technology, owning the end-to-end transformation lifecycle from as-is process mapping through to-be design, product selection, implementation, training and benefits realisation. This is a hands-on role for a finance professional who understands both the accounting substance and the systems that deliver it, and who is comfortable operating in a fast-moving, regulated specialty insurance environment.Process Analysis & Target DesignDocument and analyse as-is finance processes across the record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, premium accounting, billing, settlement and treasury cyclesIdentify pain points, manual workarounds, control weaknesses and reconciliation burdens across ATOM FICA, the Billing Engine and SAP ERPDesign to-be process models that simplify, standardise and automate finance operations, aligned to the target system architecture and to group accounting policyProduce process documentation, data flow diagrams, control matrices and functional requirement specifications to a standard suitable for vendor selection and auditProduct Selection & Solution EvaluationDefine selection criteria, run structured RFI/RFP processes, and evaluate ERP, billing, sub-ledger, reconciliation, tax and reporting solutions against functional, technical, regulatory and commercial requirementsBuild business cases, TCO models and implementation roadmaps to support investment decisions at executive and board levelAssess build-versus-buy trade-offs, including where capability should sit natively within ATOM versus in a third-party finance systemManage vendor evaluation, proof-of-concept exercises, reference checks, and contract and SOW negotiation support alongside Procurement and LegalImplementation & DeliveryLead or co-lead end-to-end finance system implementations, covering scoping, configuration, integration design, testing, cutover and hypercareOwn the finance workstream within wider transformation programmes, managing scope, plan, budget, dependencies, risks and issuesDefine and oversee chart of accounts design, ledger structures, cost centre and profit centre hierarchies, and multi-entity and multi-currency configurationSpecify and validate integrations between the finance platform, ATOM's insurance operating system, banking channels, and downstream reporting and data platformsData Migration, Controls & ComplianceDesign and govern the finance data migration approach, including data mapping, cleansing, opening balance strategy, reconciliation and sign-offEnsure the target design embeds appropriate financial controls, segregation of duties, approval workflows and audit trailsEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS), statutory and regulatory reporting obligations, UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements, and DIFC/DFSA expectations where relevantSupport internal and external audit requirements arising from the transformationTraining, Adoption & Change ManagementDevelop and deliver training materials, user guides, process manuals and workshops for finance and operational usersDrive user adoption through structured change management, stakeholder engagement and post-go-live supportEstablish ways of working, ownership and governance for the finance system landscape after go-live, including a continuous improvement backlogCollaboration & Ways of WorkingPartner with Finance, Underwriting Operations, Claims, Product, Engineering and Data teams to ensure finance requirements are properly reflected in the platformTranslate accounting and regulatory requirements into clear technical specifications, and technical constraints into terms Finance stakeholders can act onReport progress, risks and decisions clearly to executive stakeholders, and escalate early where scope or timelines are at riskRequirementsA qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) or a finance professional with an equivalent depth of practical accounting experienceProven track record delivering ERP and finance system implementations or migrations end to end, including at least one full lifecycle as a lead or senior workstream ownerStrong hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA, SAP FI/CO, SAP BTP) and/or comparable ERP platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite or Workday FinancialsDemonstrable experience in as-is process mapping and to-be process design, using recognised techniques and notation (BPMN or similar)Practical experience of billing, sub-ledger, premium accounting or receivables/payables engines, ideally in insurance, MGA, broking or financial servicesStrong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, period-end close and statutory reportingWorking knowledge of finance data structures, data migration and reconciliation, with the ability to interrogate data directly (SQL or equivalent) as a strong plusFamiliarity with IFRS, and exposure to insurance-specific accounting concepts (premium recognition, IBA/client money, reinsurance settlements) is a distinct advantageExperience of Agile or hybrid delivery environments and comfort working alongside product and engineering teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with credibility at both operational finance and executive levelA bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or a related disciplineAt
