A fast-growing, FCA-regulated fintech in the payments space is hiring a Financial Accountant to sit between the Financial Controller and transactional finance, owning the day-to-day so the FC can focus on reporting, tax and governance.What you'll own:AR/AP, bank reconciliations, month-end journals, accruals & prepaymentsManagement accounts support, balance sheet recs, budget vs. actualPayroll coordination, expenses, supplier managementMonthly commission calculationsAudit prep and process improvementGenuine scope to automate manual workWhat we're looking for:ACCA qualified (strong preference)1 -5 years post qualification Background in financial services, an SME, or a multi-entity group highly desired Strong Excel, ability to build or manipulate models a strong plus again
