The team specializes in customized services for e-commerce partners, online sellers, and store owners.Role Description The Finance Manager Cum Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledger entries, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing. The role includes handling daily bookkeeping tasks, reconciling accounts, monitoring cash flows, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Candidate will oversee financial reporting in line with relevant accounting standards, maintain and optimize accounting software usage, and assist with internal and external audits. The individual will collaborate with operations and management teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making and strengthen Fastship’s regional logistics and distribution activities.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Reporting to support accurate, timely, and compliant financial disclosures.Candidates should possess skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support business performance improvements.Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software and related tools to manage transactions, reconciliations, and reporting efficiently.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is an advantage.Knowledge of IFRS or other relevant accounting standards and experience with audit processes.Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams; prior experience in logistics, distribution, or e-commerce is beneficial.
