We offer a supportive environment where hard work is recognised, career development is encouraged.About the RoleDue to continued growth within our Finance team and several internal promotions, we are seeking an enthusiastic and commercially minded Financial Accountant to join our team.Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting across the business. Working closely with operational and corporate stakeholders, you will provide accurate financial information, meaningful analysis, and support decision-making across multiple business units.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their accounting career within a large and growing organisation. You will be involved in month-end reporting, statutory compliance, financial analysis, and business partnering activities, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and finance projects that support the broader business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage month-end close activities for assigned business units.Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.Deliver accurate monthly financial reporting and performance analysis.Assist with consolidated reporting and preparation of statutory financial statements.Support budgeting, capital expenditure, and work-in-progress reporting.Prepare BAS, FBT, payroll tax, and other statutory compliance obligations.Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.Liaise with external auditors and assist with audit preparation and reviews.Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting.Provide financial support to site management and administration teams.Coach and support junior members of the finance team.About YouYou are a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering high-quality financial information.
