قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجYour OpportunityAn opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Finance Officer to join a friendly and collaborative finance team based in Coopers Plains.This is a broad role where no two days will look exactly the same. You'll be involved across accounts payable, banking, reconciliations, payroll support, month-end and accounts receivable, while working closely with people across the wider business.Communication is absolutely critical in this role. We're looking for someone who is confident picking up the phone, comfortable dealing with different stakeholders and genuinely enjoys working as part of a team.You'll suit this opportunity if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, can comfortably juggle multiple priorities and are the type of person who is happy to jump in and help wherever needed.What You'll DoWorking closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, your responsibilities will include:Process supplier and expense invoices and maintain accurate accounts payable records.Complete bank, credit card and daily banking reconciliations.Manage employee reimbursements and assist with credit card administration.Support month-end processes, including general ledger reconciliations and reporting.Assist with fortnightly payroll, including employee onboarding, offboarding and payroll queries.Provide support across accounts receivable and credit control when required, including making collection calls and following up outstanding accounts.Liaise regularly with branch teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies.Maintain accurate financial records and supporting schedules.Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc requirements and business initiatives.Identify opportunities to improve processes and make the finance function more efficient.Who You AreWe're looking for someone with previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper or similar hands-on finance role.Just as importantly, you will bring:Excellent communication skills. This is non-negotiable.Confidence communicating over the phone and building relationships with people across different areas of a business.A genuine team-first mentality and willingness to support colleagues outside of your immediate responsibilities.The ability to multitask, prioritise and remain accurate while working in a busy, fast-moving environment.Strong accounts payable and reconciliation experience.Exposure to accounts receivable, credit control and/or payroll would be highly regarded.Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.A proactive approach.
