Financial Accountant

Working closely with the CFO, this role offers broad exposure across financial accounting, corporate entities, investments, compliance, and treasury activities within a highly professional environment. This position is ideally suited to a Financial Accountant coming directly from a Family Office, Wealth Management, Private Equity, Investment Management, or broader Financial Services environment who enjoys a hands-on role and wants to be part of a team with genuine work-life balance.Your new role-Monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations-Managing statutory compliance including BAS, payroll tax and other lodgements-End-to-end payroll oversight, including STP, PAYG and superannuation-Cash flow management and treasury support-Accounts payable and receivable oversight-Maintaining accurate general ledger records-Supporting entity administration and corporate governance requirements-Liaising with external auditors, tax advisers and other stakeholders-Assisting with investment accounting and reporting activities-Contributing to process improvement initiatives and ad hoc finance projectsWhat you'll need to succeed-CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion-3+ years' experience within a Family Office or Financial Services organisation-Strong financial accounting and compliance experience-Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills-Advanced Excel capability-A proactive, hands-on approach and strong sense of ownership-Full working rights in Australia (PR or Citizen only)What you'll get in return-Highly sought-after Family Office / investment environment-Exposure to senior decision-makers and investment operations-Stunning North Sydney office-Supportive, professional culture-Standard business hours with excellent work-life balance-Competitive salary & generous discretionary annual bonus
