Overview: Salary: $110,000 + SuperannuationEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-TimeLocation: Sydney CBDIndustry: Property Investment / Funds ManagementFocus: Financial reporting, month-end, multi-entity accounting and statutory compliancePreferred Background: Property, funds management, real estate investment or other multi-entity environmentsThe OpportunityJoin an established property investment and funds management group with a diverse portfolio of commercial assets, entities and trusts.Working within an experienced finance team, this hands-on Financial Accountant role will take ownership of core financial reporting while providing broader exposure across the portfolio, including commercial analysis, stakeholder engagement and investment-related activity.It’s an excellent next step for someone looking to move beyond traditional month-end and build greater ownership within a sophisticated, commercially focused environment.Role ProfileReporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:Month-end accounting and preparation of management reportsFinancial reporting across multiple entities, trusts and property assetsPreparation and review of balance sheet reconciliationsCash flow monitoring and reportingIntercompany accounting and reconciliationsAssisting with investor distributions and related reportingSupporting budgeting and forecasting processesPreparation of statutory accounts and supporting schedulesBAS and other regulatory reporting requirementsSupporting the year-end audit and external advisersMaintaining the integrity of the general ledger and financial dataIdentifying opportunities to improve finance processes and reportingAs you develop within the role, there will also be opportunities to become increasingly involved in portfolio analysis, budgeting and broader commercial finance initiatives.Successful Candidate Profile We're looking for a technically capable Financial Accountant who enjoys working across a complex environment and wants to continue broadening their experience.
