The Team You’ll Join Joining our expanding Singapore team, you’ll report to our Financial Controller and work daily with the Melbourne and Cyprus Finance teams. Your core focus is end-to-end accounting for the Singapore entity: accounts payable, monthly management accounts, and intercompany transactions reconciled and on-charged with the Australian and Cyprus teams, plus liaison with our payroll and tax consultants. You’ll also lend a hand on Australian accounts payable and client reconciliations for our regulated entities. Singapore sits between our Melbourne, Manila and Cyprus timezones, so the overlap works without odd hours. What You Will Own Own The Singapore Close: Run month-end and year-end close end to end including: journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed asset registers and intercompany reconciliations. Report The Numbers: Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and reporting for the Financial Controller and regional leadership. Statutory Reporting Under SFRS: Prepare the annual unaudited financial statements and supporting notes in line with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards for Small Entities and the Singapore Companies Act and manage the audit exemption assessment under the small company criteria. Tax And Regulatory Filings: Prepare and file quarterly GST returns, support corporate tax computations, ECI and Form C-S/C submissions with IRAS, and manage ACRA obligations including annual returns and XBRL financial statements. Keep The Balance Sheet Clean: Own accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting, with every control account reconciled monthly and cleanly supported. Improve The Process: Maintain and update finance procedures and documentation, strengthen internal controls, and deliver at least two documented process or automation improvements a year. What Makes You Great In This Role Full Sets Of Accounts: You’ve handled full sets of accounts for an entity on your own, month-end close included. Singapore Technical Grounding: You know your way around SFRS (including SFRS for Small Entities), GST and corporate tax, with a degree in Accountancy, Finance or similar and CA (Singapore), ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent, qualified or working towards it. Three to Five Years’ Experience: You’ve prepared unaudited financial statements, filed GST F5 returns, ECI and Form C-S/C, and lodged ACRA annual returns with XBRL, all on time. Trusted With Stakeholders: You’ve worked directly with tax agents, corporate secretarial providers and non-finance colleagues. Nice To Have: XBRL, multi-currency reporting or transfer pricing documentation, financial services or multi-entity group exposure, and experience with accounting, reconciliation or finance automation software.
