Financial Accountant (MNC)

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its Finance team in Singapore. This role is responsible for financial accounting, reporting, statutory compliance, and supporting finance operations across multiple business entities within a multinational environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and accounts.Perform balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and general ledger maintenance.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.Prepare statutory financial statements and support external audits.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.Manage intercompany reconciliations and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and relevant stakeholders.Partner with business teams and Shared Service Centres to support finance operations and reporting.Participate in finance process improvements, system enhancements, and transformation initiatives.Undertake ad hoc finance projects and provide accounting support to the business.Requirements:Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline.Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) is an advantage.At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a multinational environment.Experience in full-set accounting, financial reporting, statutory reporting, and audit coordination.Familiarity with ERP systems and Shared Service Centre (SSC) environments is preferred.Experience in the energy, commodity trading, manufacturing, or related industries is an advantage.Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.How to Apply:Submit your application by emailing a detailed copy of your updated Resume in MS Word Format to Teoh Yee Ling (EA Personnel Reg.
