Financial Accounting Specialist

Role Description The Financial Accounting Specialist at ELSA Coimbra will manage day-to-day financial recording, review, and reporting activities. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling accounts, monitoring transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant standards. The specialist will support budgeting and forecasting processes, assist with audits, and provide clear financial insights to stakeholders. This is a part-time hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.Qualifications Strong proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial statements.Well-developed analytical skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.Experience using accounting software and related finance tools to manage and report financial information.Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, including basic regulatory and compliance requirements.Effective communication skills to present financial information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.Prior experience in a similar accounting or finance role is preferred.
