accordance with applicable policies and regulations.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Financial Aid Manager to lead financial aid operations, scholarship administration, student advising, eligibility assessment, compliance, disbursement coordination, and financial aid program management.The ideal candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership across the full financial aid lifecycle, ensuring students receive accurate information and timely support while maintaining strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, data integrity, and service quality.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement financial aid strategies, policies, procedures, standards, and annual operating plans.Manage the full financial aid lifecycle from application and eligibility assessment through award, disbursement, reconciliation, adjustment, and closeout.Administer scholarships, grants, bursaries, tuition assistance, loans, work-study programs, and other financial support programs as applicable.Establish clear eligibility criteria, application procedures, documentation requirements, and decision-making processes.Review financial aid applications and ensure eligibility determinations are accurate, consistent, and properly documented.Coordinate financial aid awards with admissions, enrollment, registration, finance, and academic departments.Monitor student enrollment status and its impact on financial aid eligibility and awards.Manage award calculations, adjustments, cancellations, refunds, and corrections.Coordinate financial aid disbursements with finance and student-account teams.Ensure accurate reconciliation of financial aid funds, student accounts, institutional funding, and external funding sources.Monitor scholarship and financial aid budgets, commitments, available funds, and expenditure forecasts.Develop financial aid budgets, forecasts, funding plans, and resource requirements.Maintain accurate records of applications, decisions, awards, documentation, disbursements, adjustments, and communications.Ensure student information is handled securely and confidentially.Monitor applicable financial aid regulations, institutional policies, government requirements, donor restrictions, and funding conditions.Update policies and procedures when regulatory or institutional requirements change.Coordinate internal and external financial aid audits, reviews, inspections, and compliance assessments.Maintain appropriate documentation to support eligibility decisions, awards, disbursements, and compliance.Identify financial aid risks, control weaknesses, processing errors, and potential misuse of funds.Establish controls to prevent fraud, duplicate awards, inaccurate payments, and unauthorized access.Investigate discrepancies, suspected misuse, appeals, and financial aid exceptions.Develop appropriate escalation and review procedures for complex cases.Manage financial aid appeals, professional judgments, exceptions, and special circumstances in accordance with approved policies.Provide students and families with clear guidance regarding financial aid options, eligibility, deadlines, documentation, and responsibilities.Develop financial literacy and financial planning resources for students.Manage financial aid communications, information sessions, workshops, websites, portals, and student outreach.Ensure communications are accurate, accessible, timely, and easy to understand.Supervise financial aid advisors, administrators, coordinators, and support staff.Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and evaluate financial aid personnel.Establish service standards, response times, quality requirements, and escalation procedures.Coordinate with government agencies, scholarship organizations, banks, sponsors, donors, and other funding partners where applicable.Manage external financial aid providers and service partners against agreed requirements and performance standards.Use student-information systems, financial aid platforms, CRM systems, document-management tools, and reporting systems to improve operations.Monitor system integrations, data accuracy, workflow performance, and access controls.Develop financial aid dashboards and reports covering applications, awards, disbursements, funding, student demand, compliance, and service performance.Analyze financial aid trends, student demographics, funding gaps, award patterns, and financial need to support strategic decisions.Evaluate the effectiveness and accessibility of financial aid programs.Identify opportunities to improve affordability, student retention, program reach, and administrative efficiency.Support scholarship fundraising, donor reporting, and restricted-fund administration where applicable.Ensure donor and funding-provider requirements are properly documented and fulfilled.Develop contingency plans for funding shortages, system disruptions, regulatory changes, and high-volume processing periods.Coordinate peak-period operations to ensure applications and awards are processed within established deadlines.Conduct regular operational reviews and quality-control checks.Benchmark financial aid services against relevant educational institutions and recognized industry practices.Identify opportunities for automation, digital self-service, analytics, and process improvement.Prepare regular management reports covering financial aid demand, awards, budgets, compliance, student service, and improvement opportunities.Provide leadership with recommendations regarding financial aid policy, funding allocation, student affordability, and operational risks.Lead continuous-improvement initiatives across
