Financial Analyst

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.Responsibilities• Support Financial Planning & Analysis for Egypt, Lebanon and Yemen operations.• Assist Finance Management & Regional Director on cost and revenue initiatives through periodic and ad-hoc financial analysis.• Engage with Regional HODs for their respective operational plans and cost control.• Participate in the annual budget process, undertake budgetary controls, and track performances verses budget.• Support Finance Management in the preparation of monthly reporting packs (including review of the trial balance).• Coach Accounting trainees to enhance day to day accounting activities.• Partner with Business Unit leaders to provide timely business support.• Liaising with Other Departments (Purchasing, SCM, Operations & Marketing)Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent).• Minimum 5 years of experience with-in Finance Function (mandatory 2 years as Financial Analyst• Construction, Industrial Equipment's and Electronics Industry experience would be a plus.• ERPs (preferably #SAP)• BI Tools (preferably #PowerBI)• MS office (extensive experience using #excel and #powerpoint)• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills• Strong attention to detail• Organizational, planning and people management skills
