You will play a key role in invoice management, financial reporting, contract administration, and vendor coordination while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to support project success.In this role, you will work closely with project managers, project controls professionals, vendors, and finance teams to improve financial performance, streamline processes, and provide accurate reporting that supports informed business decisions.Your Day-to-Day ActivitiesManage invoice processing from receipt through approval, auditing, and final paymentReview invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with contract requirementsCoordinate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issuesSupport contract administration and maintain accurate financial documentationUtilize ERP systems to manage financial transactions and improve process efficiencyAnalyze financial data and prepare reports to support project and business decision-makingApply cost accounting principles to monitor project financial performanceDevelop and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and financial analysesCollaborate with project teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve financial workflows and reimbursement processesProvide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external partnersManage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and accuracyCommunicate financial updates and recommendations to project teams and leadershipThe Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, accounting, or financial operationsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reportingExperience processing invoices and managing financial transactionsExperience working with SAPStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience supporting financial operations within utilities, construction, or infrastructure environments is preferredYou'll Stand Out If You HaveKnowledge of cost accounting principlesExperience with contract administration and vendor managementStrong data auditing and financial reconciliation experienceExperience developing financial reports and dashboardsBackground supporting capital projects or project-based organizationsStrong client service mindset with the ability to build effective working relationshipsProven ability to identify process improvements and drive operational efficienciesCompensation & Benefits$100,000-$140,000 annual salaryPaid holiday, sick, and vacation timeMedical, Dental, and Vision CoverageHealth Savings Accounts (HSAs)401(k) with Company MatchAnnual BonusTuition ReimbursementPaid Parental LeaveFlexible Spending Account (FSAs)
