Financial Analyst

We're working with a growing, established company looking for a Financial Analyst to join their growing team!This is a great opportunity for someone early in their FP&A career who wants exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operational analysis while working directly with business leaders.Compensation: $40 to $45/HRLocation: Must be available to work onsite daily in Orange County, CA.Job Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze monthly & quarterly financial resultsPerform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periodsBuild leadership reporting, presentations, and exception reportsAnalyze labor efficiency, pricing, COGS, and branch performanceSupport revenue reporting and internal controls/SOX requirementsCalculate commissions and quarterly incentive compensationBuild and maintain financial models and forecastsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and reporting automationPartner cross-functionally to turn financial data into actionable insightsJob Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field1+ year of FP&A or financial analysis experienceStrong understanding of accounting, forecasting, and financial modelingAdvanced Excel skills — PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic modelingStrong analytical and communication skillsHighly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownershipSomeone who enjoys digging into the numbers and understanding the “why” behind the results
