Financial Analyst

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, analysis, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and IFRS standards. Experience within the banking or financial services sector is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsPerform detailed P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, identifying key variances and trendsSupport financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEnsure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with IFRS and applicable accounting standardsPrepare management reports, financial dashboards, and analytical insights for senior stakeholdersInvestigate financial variances and provide clear explanations and recommendationsSupport month-end and year-end financial closing activitiesReview financial data and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completenessCollaborate with Finance, Accounting, Risk, Operations, and Business teams to gather and validate financial informationAssist with financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business decisionsIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiencySupport internal and external audit requirements as neededRequirementsFinancial Analysis | P&L Analysis | Balance Sheet Analysis | Financial Reporting | IFRS | Budgeting & Forecasting | Variance Analysis | Financial Modelling | Reconciliation | Excel | Banking & Financial ServicesMandatory RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline4-8 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, reporting, or management accountingStrong hands-on experience in P&L and Balance Sheet analysisGood understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principlesExperience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detailAdvanced MS Excel skills, including financial analysis and reportingStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred ExperiencePrior experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated financial institutionsExposure to banking products, financial operations, or regulatory reportingExperience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, or BI platformsProfessional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CFA is an advantage
