The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing and reviewing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. Daily activities include examining financial statements, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring data accuracy, and helping to improve financial processes and controls. The Financial Analyst will also assist in evaluating business initiatives, performing variance analyses, and preparing regular management presentations.Roles & Responsibilities ● Perform data analysis and reconciliation across financial systems to ensure accuracy and consistency. ● Handle month-end closing activities, including variance analysis and reporting. ● Conduct deep-dive analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for discrepancies in financial data. ● Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand financial processes and improve efficiency. ● Analyze and interpret financial data related to Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and related transactions. ● Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and documentation using Google Sheets and Excel. ● Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance data integrity and operational efficiency. ● Support stakeholders with insights and data-driven recommendations for decision-making. Required Skills & Qualifications ● 4+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Business Analyst. ● Strong understanding of financial domain concepts, including: ○ Payment Service Providers (PSPs) ○ Data Reconciliation ○ Month-end closing processes ● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis). ● Hands-on experience with Google Sheets. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. ● Experience performing RCA and financial deep-dives. ● Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Good to Have ● Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation. ● Professional certifications such as CFA Level 1 or Level 2. ● MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification. ● Experience with data visualization or reporting tools
