Role DescriptionWe are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business decision-making. The role focuses on analyzing financial and operational data, preparing management reports, developing financial models, monitoring performance, and providing actionable insights to support business objectives.Key responsibilities include preparing budgets, forecasts, financial reports, variance analyses, management summaries, and financial models. The Financial Analyst will analyze revenue, costs, expenses, margins, profitability, cash flow, and key performance indicators to identify trends, performance gaps, risks, and opportunities.The role will work closely with finance, accounting, sales, operations, procurement, supply chain, and business teams to collect and validate financial information and understand key business drivers. Responsibilities may include supporting monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, analyzing actual versus budget performance, maintaining forecasting models, preparing business cases, and supporting financial planning activities.The Financial Analyst will also provide analytical support to management by translating complex financial and operational information into clear insights and recommendations. The role will investigate discrepancies, validate data, improve reporting accuracy, and support financial controls and decision-making processes.The position contributes to continuous improvement by enhancing financial models, reporting processes, analytical tools, and forecasting methodologies. Strong analytical, numerical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, together with high attention to detail, commercial awareness, and sound financial judgment.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related discipline.Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial modeling, and performance measurement.Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to analyze revenue, costs, expenses, margins, profitability, cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial variances.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet tools, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis functions.Good understanding of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Familiarity with ERP, FP&A, accounting, financial planning, business intelligence, or reporting systems is an advantage.Ability to prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, variance analyses, management presentations, and business cases.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify key financial and operational drivers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple reporting cycles, analyses, and deadlines.High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial and business information.Proactive, responsible, analytical, commercially aware, adaptable, collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to financial accuracy and continuous improvement.
