This role plays a key part in budgeting, financial modeling, cost optimization initiatives, capital expenditure tracking, and process improvement projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, deliver actionable financial insights, and contribute to improving reporting efficiency and decision-making processes.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis & Strategic InitiativesDevelop and maintain financial models to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities.Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.Perform ad hoc financial analysis and prepare insightful reports and presentations for management.Conduct benchmarking and performance analysis to identify improvement opportunities and support business objectives.Budgeting & ForecastingSupport the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial results.Perform trend analysis and provide insights into key business drivers.Monitor and report on critical financial performance indicators.Develop and maintain tools that support annual budgeting and planning activities.Assist in preparing periodic financial forecasts and estimating future business performance.Cost Savings & Performance TrackingMaintain and monitor savings initiatives and performance tracking tools.Validate cost-saving opportunities and ensure accurate measurement of benefits achieved.Support project tracking and ensure initiatives remain on schedule to meet targeted objectives.Capital Planning & Investment AnalysisAssist with capital expenditure planning, forecasting, and tracking activities.Perform financial evaluations for investment and improvement projects.Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate expected business benefits and cost savings.Financial Systems & Operational SupportSupport period-end financial close activities and reporting requirements.Assist with financial system maintenance, data integrity, and process improvements.Collaborate with finance team members on master data updates and other system-related tasks as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or reporting.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Professional certifications or postgraduate qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business are advantageous.Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms is beneficial.Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.Effective collaboration and teamwork capabilities.Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and technologies.Understanding of cost analysis, operational performance metrics, and variance analysis is an advantage.
