Apply & track with Apply EdgeFinancial Analyst (Package up to AED 8,000)Role PurposeThe Financial Analyst will manage day-to-day treasury activities, ensuring that payments are processed accurately and securely, cash positions are monitored, liquidity requirements are anticipated, and treasury transactions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Development, Legal, Tax and other business teams while maintaining effective relationships with banks and financial institutions.Key ResponsibilitiesCash and Liquidity ManagementPrepare and monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts, currencies, entities and jurisdictions.Coordinate funding requirements and intercompany cash transfers.Identify surplus cash and funding shortfalls, escalating them promptly to treasury leadership.Assist with the placement and monitoring of deposits and other approved short-term investments.Payments and Banking OperationsPrepare, review and process domestic and international payments in accordance with approved mandates.Administer online banking platforms, payment workflows, user access and authorization limits.Maintain accurate bank-account, signatory and mandate records.Support the opening, amendment and closure of bank accounts.Coordinate bank KYC, compliance reviews and documentation requests.Resolve rejected payments, banking queries and transaction discrepancies in a timely manner.Treasury Controls and ReportingMaintain effective treasury controls, segregation of duties and payment-approval procedures.Prepare regular treasury reports covering cash balances, liquidity, deposits, debt and banking activity.Support bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding or unidentified items.Assist with internal and external audits and the implementation of audit recommendations.Ensure compliance with Group policies, delegated authorities and applicable regulatory requirements.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.A professional treasury or accounting qualification—such as ACT, CTP, ACCA, ACA, CPA or CMA—is advantageous.ExperienceRelevant experience in treasury operations, corporate finance, banking or cash management.Exposure to real estate, construction, investment, hospitality or another project-based international business is advantageous.Experience with online banking platforms, treasury-management systems or ERP applications is preferred.
