Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid)Compensation: $75,000–$105,000 base + bonus, profit sharing, and 401(k) matchAbout The OpportunityWaterstone Professional Recruiting is partnering with a fast-growing wealth management firm and multi-family office in Salt Lake City to hire a Financial Analyst.

Our client serves founders, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth families, many of whom have built significant wealth through a single business or liquidity event.What You'll DoSupport portfolio management for custom, endowment-style client portfolios, including asset allocation, rebalancing, and trade preparation.Research and monitor public market securities, funds, and macro trends to inform investment decisions.Assist with private investment due diligence, deal evaluation, and commitment pacing across private funds.Build and maintain financial models and balance sheet analyses covering public and private holdings, concentrated stock, real estate, and other assets.Prepare portfolio reports, performance analysis, and client meeting materials.Coordinate with clients' CPAs, attorneys, and other advisors on tax, estate, and charitable planning work.Help build and improve the processes, tools, and models a growing team will rely on.RequiredWhat you bringBachelor's degree in finance or economics.Strong working knowledge of public markets, securities, and portfolio construction.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.Willingness to obtain the Series 65 after hire (the firm covers the cost).Exceptional attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication.PreferredExperience at an RIA, family office, private bank, investment firm, or in investment research.Exposure to private investments, venture capital, or due diligence.Familiarity with portfolio reporting platforms, custodial systems, or market data tools.Progress toward the CFA or CFP.Who Thrives HereOur client looks for people who are hungry and humble: self-starters who give full effort, take ownership, and learn fast.
