Location: Tempe, AZSetting: OnsiteCompensation: $100k - $120k + annual bonus + 401k matching (50% match up to 6%)Position SummaryOur client is seeking a Financial Analyst to support FP&A, reporting, and business performance initiatives across a growing organization.

This role will partner with operational and leadership teams to deliver financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and business insights that drive informed decision-making and improved financial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop financial analyses and recommendations to support business performance and strategic decision-making.Prepare and maintain operational, financial, and management reporting.Analyze revenue, volume, profitability, and business performance trends.Perform monthly P&L variance analysis and communicate key drivers.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership.Prepare ad hoc analyses and executive-level financial reporting.Partner with operations and department leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvements.Support project-related financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.Support internal and external audit requests.Maintain data integrity within financial systems and reporting tools.Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.Participate in process improvement initiatives and reporting enhancements.Support other FP&A and finance projects as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related finance function.Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.Strong understanding of financial statements and business performance metrics.Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Process improvement mindset with a desire to streamline reporting and analysis activities.Experience with planning and consolidation tools is a plus.Desired AttributesAnalytical and data-driven thinker.Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently.Collaborative team player who partners effectively across departments.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to see both detailed financial information and broader business impacts.
