This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career finance professional who wants to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, financial planning, and operational analysis.In this role, you'll partner with plant leadership, operations teams, and business unit finance leaders to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and help drive business results. While primarily office-based, you'll also have opportunities to visit manufacturing facilities to better understand operations and the financial drivers behind plant performance.Why Join Carlisle?Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days remoteExposure to manufacturing operations and business leadershipCareer development opportunities within a global organizationTuition assistance and professional growth programsCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsCollaborative culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and employee successWhat You'll DoSupport Plant Finance & OperationsPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly plant performance reports, KPI scorecards, and variance analysesAnalyze manufacturing cost trends, including material usage, labor efficiency, overhead absorption, scrap, and yieldSupport plant leadership and the Polyiso Business Unit Controller with financial insights and performance analysisParticipate in plant visits to better understand operations, production processes, and cost driversContribute to Product CostingAssist with maintaining and validating standard costs, bills of materials (BOMs), labor routings, and overhead ratesSupport annual standard cost updates and cost roll activitiesPartner with Supply Chain and Procurement teams on raw material cost analysis, freight costs, and tariff impactsAnalyze and explain cost variances, including price, usage, and efficiency differencesFinancial Planning & AnalysisSupport monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processesPrepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close activitiesPerform ad hoc analysis to identify business opportunities and operational improvementsMaintain financial models used for production planning and scenario analysisCompliance & ControlsSupport SOX compliance activities, documentation, and testingAssist with inventory controls, cycle counts, and annual physical inventoriesHelp ensure financial data accuracy and adherence to company policiesWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented individual who is curious about how businesses operate and enjoys solving problems using data.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field0–2 years of finance or accounting experienceRecent graduates are encouraged to applyStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and working with large datasetsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesPreferred QualificationsManufacturing, cost accounting, or operations finance experienceExposure to standard costing and variance analysisExperience with SAP or other ERP systemsPower BI or data visualization experienceExperience preparing presentations and business reports for leadership teamsWhat Success Looks LikeSuccessful candidates will quickly become trusted business partners by providing accurate analysis, identifying financial risks and opportunities, and helping operational leaders make informed decisions.
