Financial Analyst - Pricing and Revenue

Position OverviewOur client, a prestigious and top-ranked AmLaw firm is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its pricing and revenue strategy team in New York. This Financial Analyst role offers the opportunity to partner directly with business leaders and clients to develop pricing strategies, budgets, and data-driven financial insights that shape firmwide decision-making. You’ll analyze client and matter profitability, support RFPs and negotiations, and play a hands-on role in improving financial performance and reporting accuracy across the organization.In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with attorneys, finance, and operations teams to design and implement pricing models, manage client fee arrangements, and develop analytical tools that drive strategic decision-making. This is a highly visible role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys using financial analysis to influence business outcomes.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain pricing and financial models to support client fee arrangements, budgets, and matter forecastsReview and implement client-specific rate agreements in collaboration with billing and finance teamsConduct profitability, realization, and variance analysis to identify trends and optimize pricing performancePrepare financial reports and present key insights to leadership, partners, and other stakeholdersSupport pricing-related components of RFPs, client negotiations, and Outside Counsel Guideline reviewsCollaborate on annual rate reviews and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracyProvide ad hoc analytical support to drive transparency and informed decision-making across the firmQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting3+ years of pricing, financial analysis or FP&A experience in a corporate environmentSkilled in budget, forecasting and variance analysisFinancial modeling and RFP experience preferredHighly analytical and strong data analysis skillsExposure to AI and data visualization tools preferredAdvanced Excel
