Role-Financial Crime Business Analyst / FS Advisory ConsultantLocation: Dublin, IrelandWork Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per weekJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Financial Crime Business Analyst / FS Advisory Consultant with strong experience across AML, Fraud, Sanctions, KYC, and/or Regulatory Change programmes.The role will focus on financial crime advisory, business case development, process modelling, requirements analysis, and delivering technology-enabled business transformation. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, technology teams, and senior leadership to define and deliver effective solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead advisory engagements across the Financial Crime domain, including AML, Fraud, Sanctions, KYC, and regulatory change.Understand business problems, define scope, and develop business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and process models.Engage stakeholders and Product Owners to document as-is processes and design customer-focused to-be processes.Identify opportunities for process optimisation, digitisation, and simplification.Conduct requirements workshops and translate business needs into actionable change.Develop clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product and Technology teams.Analyse business and statistical data to support transformation and investment decisions.Apply design thinking, customer journeys, personas, and industry best practices to improve customer and operational outcomes.Provide industry insight and thought leadership on future operating models, regulatory trends, and Financial Crime best practices.Manage multiple stakeholders and support decision-making across complex transformation programmes.Work across Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments from inception through design and delivery.Contribute to a metrics-driven, continuous improvement culture.Mandatory Skills & Experience10+ years of experience in Financial Services change management, regulatory transformation, business analysis, or advisory.Strong Financial Crime experience across one or more of AML, Fraud, Sanctions, KYC, or Regulatory Change.4+ years of Big 4 / Financial Services Advisory experience preferred.Proven experience delivering end-to-end Financial Crime transformation programmes covering operating model, governance, processes, and technology.Strong expertise in Business Process Modelling, Requirements Elicitation, Business Case Development, and Cost-Benefit Analysis.Strong experience working with senior stakeholders, Product Owners, and Technology/Development teams.Hands-on experience developing Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.Strong technology background with the ability to translate business requirements into technology-enabled solutions.
