The individual in this role provides tailored financial advice and insurance solutions to clients, helping them meet long-term savings, protection, and retirement goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, assessing financial needs and risk profiles, recommending appropriate AIA products, and preparing financial proposals. The role also involves managing ongoing client relationships, reviewing portfolios regularly, and ensuring high standards of regulatory compliance and documentation. Financial Consultants collaborate with internal teams and participate in training and sales activities to stay informed about product updates, market developments, and best practices.Qualifications Strong skills in financial analysis, needs-based financial planning, and portfolio review, with the ability to translate client goals into structured solutions.Competence in client consultation, relationship management, and communication, including presenting complex financial concepts in clear, accessible language.Knowledge of life insurance, health insurance, savings plans, and retirement planning, with an understanding of risk management and protection strategies.Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the Singapore financial services sector, including documentation standards and ethical sales practices.Proficiency in using productivity and CRM tools for client management, reporting, and follow-up activities.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CMFAS, CFP) are an advantage.Demonstrated ability to work towards sales and service targets while maintaining a client-centric approach and high professional integrity.Prior experience in financial advisory, insurance, banking, or wealth management is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates with strong aptitude.
