Financial Controller £120,000 + 20% bonus LondonSaaSPermanent- Remote The Role Finatal has partnered with a PE backed international SaaS business who is seeking an exceptional Financial Controller to join its leadership team in a pivotal stage. The successful individual will join a highly collaborative leadership environment, working alongside an accomplished FP&A Lead and reporting directly to a dynamic Group CFO. They will play a critical role in professionalising the finance function, strengthening controls, enhancing reporting capabilities and supporting the wider value creation agenda alongside both the Senior Leadership Team and Private Equity investors.Key Responsibilities Leading all financial accounting activities across the GroupOwning month-end, year-end and statutory reporting processesManaging the external audit process and all stakeholder relationshipsDeveloping and enhancing financial controls, governance and compliance frameworksDriving the continued optimisation of NetSuite and wider finance systemsDelivering automation initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy and scalabilityEnsuring clean, reliable and actionable financial data across the organisationPartnering with senior business leaders to support strategic decision-makingProducing high-quality reporting and insight for the Board, Executive Team and Private Equity investorsSupporting the Group CFO and investment team with the wider value creation planLeading finance transformation initiatives ahead of a future exit processWorking closely with the FP&A function to provide a unified finance business partnering approachActing as a strategic influencer and trusted advisor across the businessRequirements Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance or similar leadership positionExperience within SaaS, technology, software or recurring revenue business modelsStrong understanding of Private Equity-backed environments and value creation initiativesDemonstrable experience leading audits, controls and financial reporting processesExperience driving finance transformation, automation and systems improvementsStrong knowledge of NetSuite or comparable ERP platformsExcellent stakeholder management skills, including Board and investor interactionA data-driven mindset with a passion for process improvement and technologyProven people leadership and mentoring experienceAbility to attend the London office when required
