Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the role:Act as financial focal point for assigned projects, forging close working relationship with Project Manager, Commercial and Project Controls teamCompile monthly and quarterly management reports of project specific financials in the specified formatEnsure timely revenue recognition and adherence to IFRS standardsManage cost control process including closely monitoring all costs incurred against work budget and ensuring data integrity between Oracle ERP and project reportingProvide Project Manager with ad-hoc project-related financial and risk analysis to assist in decision-makingMaintain database of project related costs and provide estimating data for pricing of tenders and assist contracts team in claims or variations build upParticipate in cash management initiatives with follow up on billing, collection of outstanding invoices as well as identifying and prioritising critical vendor payments in order to effectively manage cash outflows and minimising use of petty cashSupervise assigned project accountants, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are metPromote and engage effective working relationship with auditorsEstablish & maintain contact with banks, clients, partners & suppliersAttend meetings to provide fiscal advise and sound interpretation of policies & proceduresPerform other tasks as may be instructed from time to timeCompliance in accordance with HSE StandardPayroll Oversee monthly payroll processing in coordination with HR and ITEnsure payroll entries are accurate and aligned with contracts, benefits, and approved timesheetsValidate salary changes, incentives, overtime, and deductionsManage end-of-service benefit calculations and compliance with UAE Labor LawLiaise with banks and payment platforms for timely salary disbursementFixed Asset Monitor capital expenditures and ensure proper capitalization in line with policyEnsure timely monthly depreciation and reconciliationsManage asset transfers, disposals, impairments, and physical verificationReview and improve integration between payroll costing and asset/project systemsCross-functionalGenerate payroll and fixed asset reports for internal stakeholders and auditsIdentify and implement process improvement opportunities for system automation and report adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulationsEducational Qualifications and CertificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, Accountancy, Accounting or equivalent CPA / CMA / CA accreditation is an advantageRelevant Experience:Minimum 12 years' experience in Accounting & Finance in related industries
