We're committed to accessible financial services backed by strong compliance, professionalism, and customer care.The OpportunityWe're looking for a Finance Controller to work directly with our CFO and take full ownership of the company's accounting function.This is a senior role with a genuinely hands-on core. Day to day, you'll be the one doing the reconciliations, posting the journal entries, and closing the books — not just reviewing someone else's work. At the same time, you'll step back regularly to analyze results, flag trends, and advise the CFO on budgeting, cash flow, and business decisions. As the company grows, you'll help build the systems and processes needed to scale the function.What You'll DoPerform bank/credit-card reconciliations, post journal entries and accruals, and maintain the general ledgerReconcile balance-sheet accounts, resolve unusual AP/AR items, and maintain supporting schedules for all reconciliationsOwn the close calendar; prepare closing entries, accruals, and balance-sheet reconciliations for month-end, quarter-end, and year-endPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, with documentation to support audit and tax filingsBuild management reporting packages and analyze budget-to-actual and month-over-month variancesTrack key metrics, flag trends to the CFO, and ensure reporting aligns with accounting standardsLead annual budgeting with the CFO and maintain rolling cash-flow forecastsCompare actuals to plan monthly, build financial models, and run scenario analyses for key decisionsMaintain accounting policies and internal controls, tightening them as the company scalesServe as main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and banks; coordinate year-end audit and support tax/regulatory filingsMeet regularly with the CFO on results, forecasts, and open issues; provide ad hoc analysis for key decisionsSupport special projects and translate financial results into clear takeaways for non-financial stakeholdersIdentify inefficient processes and implement scalable, automated solutionsDocument new processes/controls and help build the accounting team as it growsWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldCPA designation5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant ownership of full-cycle accounting and financial reportingExperience in professional services or a comparable service-based business strongly preferredHands-on experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, close processes, and financial statement preparationStrong background in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and financial analysisExperience working directly with a CFO, executive team, or business owner strongly preferredSolid knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and reporting best practicesAdvanced Excel skills and strong experience with accounting or ERP systemsA track record of improving accounting processes, systems, or controls in a growing organizationBenefitsPay: $120,000.00-$130,000.00 per yearExtended health careOn-site parkingPaid time off
