Jalin Design – Finance Controller (London)Jalin Design is a global luxury uniform design and manufacturing business operating across the UK, Europe, Caribbean, Middle East and USA.We operate across multiple entities, currencies and jurisdictions, including international EOR structures and complex global operations.We are looking for a hands-on Finance Controller to bring structure, control and visibility to the business.This is a full-time, on-site role based in London.The RoleYou own the detail. You make sure nothing gets missed.Working alongside the Finance Director, you will take responsibility for day-to-day financial control, reporting, compliance and operational finance across the business.This role requires accuracy, consistency and strong organisational control in a fast-moving international environment.What You Will DoFinancial ControlOwn month-end close Bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records and reporting Support operational teams with financial accuracy and visibility Cash & Working CapitalManage AR and AP cycles Track weekly cash position Support cashflow forecasting Align supplier payments with production timelines and delivery schedules PayrollEnsure 3rd Party UK payroll provider information is accurate for monthly Payroll. Ensure PAYE and HMRC submissions are accurate and on time Oversee international payroll through EOR providers Manage US payroll cycles (twice monthly) Compliance & Filings (Critical)Manage and deliver all deadlines across:UKCompanies House Corporation tax VAT International EntitiesLocal filings and compliance Import-related financial requirements where applicable Business ComplianceISO 9001 ISO 14001 Nothing gets missed. All deadlines are tracked well in advance.Calendar & Control SystemsMaintain master finance and compliance calendar Track all deadlines using 30 / 14 / 7 day visibility system Ensure early visibility of risks or delays Coordinate with FD and external advisors Team OversightOversee junior accountant Ensure AR, AP, reconciliations and payroll preparation are completed accurately and on time Maintain structure, accountability and operational standards What Success Looks LikeZero missed deadlines or filings Smooth payroll operations across all regions Accurate and well-maintained accounts Full visibility of upcoming obligations and cash position Junior finance team operates effectively under clear structure Finance runs in a controlled, predictable rhythm The PersonHighly organised and detail-driven Strong ownership mentality Disciplined and consistent Comfortable managing multiple entities and priorities Able to manage and improve junior team members Proactive — you stay ahead of deadlines, not behind them ExperienceProven experience as a Finance Controller or similar Strong UK accounting and tax knowledge Experience working across multi-entity environments International payroll and EOR exposure advantageous Strong Excel and systems capability Package£50,000 – £65,000 depending on experience Full-time, on-site role based in London Final NoteThis role is about control, not theory.It suits someone who likes structure, accuracy and accountability — and takes pride in making sure complex operations run properly every day.
