Senior Financial ControllerDavie, FL | On-siteWe are seeking a hands-on Senior Financial Controller to own accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement across a multi-entity healthcare distribution business. This role reports to a fractional CFO and is ideal for someone who wants to build a high-performing finance function and grow into a CFO role.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close across three distinct (non-consolidating) entities, including intercompany accounting and significant balance-sheet management for an MSO entityPrepare accurate US GAAP financial statements and present results with clear variance analysisLead NetSuite optimization and process automation following a recent system transitionRedesign and own AP and AR processes end-to-end (eliminate backlog, implement standardized automated workflows)Drive inventory accuracy, controls, and PO-related accounting in a warehouse/distribution environmentDesign and maintain strong internal controls; serve as primary contact for external auditorsDirectly manage: Senior Staff Accountant, Financial Analyst, AP Clerk, AR Manager, and Billing AssistantPartner closely with operations, warehouse, procurement, and leadership to improve processes and support growthQualifications10–15 years of progressive accounting experience with strong technical GAAP, close, and financial reporting skillsProven hands-on experience fixing AP/AR processes and implementing controls, ideally in inventory- or PO-heavy environmentsExperience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity structuresNetSuite experience strongly preferredPharmacy, healthcare, distribution, or wholesale background is a significant plusBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferredBias to action, high ownership, and ability to operate independently with minimal oversightStrong desire to grow into a CFO role
