Financial Controller

A major Real Estate investment, development and property management firm is seeking a Financial Controller to join their organization. This individual will oversee the accounting function for an 85-property portfolio and will provide direction to senior leadershipResponsibilitiesCash management to include loan paydowns and drawsPrepare financial statementsSupervision of accounts receivable to include accurate tenant billing of rent &CMA and posting of tenant receiptsOversee CAM reconciliation and collectionSupervise monthly reconciliations of the general ledgerPrepare and file al local and tax returnsCoordinate submission of year end financials to CPAAccounts Payable managementReview lender loan statementsPrepare monthly 401K spreadsheetsGenerate and submit semi-monthly payrollQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or relatedProficiency with Yardi5-7 years accounting experience in Real Estate
