This is a highly visible leadership opportunity offering significant exposure to executive management and the ability to help build scalable financial infrastructure within a dynamic, high-growth environment.The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, experience managing multi-entity financial reporting, and a proven ability to improve processes while maintaining a strong control environment.ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple domestic and international legal entities.Prepare and review U.S. GAAP financial statements, including entity-level reporting and consolidation support.Oversee general ledger accounting, revenue recognition, accruals, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations.Manage intercompany accounting, including allocations, funding activity, settlements, and elimination entries.Support complex legal entity accounting and collaborate with internal stakeholders on organizational and structural initiatives.Produce monthly management reporting, variance analyses, executive reporting packages, and financial insights for senior leadership.Partner closely with Finance, Legal, Tax, Operations, and Technology teams to support strategic business initiatives.Maintain and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and governance processes.Coordinate annual financial statement audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate accounting processes, and improve operational efficiency.Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing accounting team while helping scale the overall finance function.Qualifications RequiredActive CPA designation.10+ years of progressive accounting experience within financial services, investment management, capital markets, fintech, or a similarly complex environment.Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including consolidations, intercompany accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.Experience managing accounting across multiple legal entities and complex organizational structures.Strong understanding of internal controls, financial reporting, and audit management.Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams and cross-functional initiatives.PreferredPublic accounting experience with a Big Four or national accounting firm.Experience supporting organizations with international operations or global legal entity structures.Exposure to complex financial products or alternative investment businesses.Experience improving accounting systems, ERP platforms, or finance technology.Proficiency with data analysis or process automation tools.Ideal CandidateStrong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, evolving organization.Strong communication and executive presentation skills.Collaborative leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement.Experience building scalable accounting processes to support organizational growth.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary and annual incentive opportunity.Long-term incentive/equity participation.Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.Retirement savings program.Professional development support.Flexible hybrid work environment.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a rapidly growing organization.
