Financial ControllerSouth Cambridge Salary £60,000 to £65,000 + Bonus An established manufacturing business based in South Cambridge is seeking a Financial Controller to lead its finance function and support the senior leadership team with high-quality financial insight and reporting.This is a hands-on role offering broad responsibility across financial control, commercial analysis, process improvement, and team leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts and financial reportingLeading budgeting and forecasting processesDelivering insightful management information and financial analysisCosting and variance analysis to support operational decision-makingOwnership of month-end and year-end processesSupporting external audits and statutory reporting requirementsDeveloping financial controls, systems, and processesPartnering with operational teams to improve business performanceManaging and developing a small finance teamAbout YouQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferredStrong management accounting, reporting, and analytical skillsExperience within manufacturing, engineering, or a similar environment would be advantageousComfortable working in a hands-on SME environmentStrong systems and ERP knowledge with a continuous improvement mindsetLeadership and team management experienceWhat's on OfferSalary up to £65,000, total potential package up to £70,000Performance-related bonusStable and growing business environmentBroad, commercially focused role with exposure to senior leadershipOpportunity to make a significant impact within the businessFor a confidential discussion or to find out more, please get in touch.
