Financial Controller

I am currently recruiting for an established and growing specialist lending business who have a strong track record of providing funding across a diverse range of sectors. Supported by an experienced leadership team the business is entering an exciting phase of growth, expanding both organically and through strategic opportunities.I am looking for an experienced Financial Controller who will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and effective financial management across the business.You will play an important role in developing the finance function to support the organisation's continued growth. Key focuses include:Lead the financial control and reporting activities across the businessPartner to the FD, CFO and, CEO delivering monthly management accounts and board packsDevelop and maintain forecasting models for cash flow, debt servicing and capital allocationOversee finance operations including payment processes and banking relationships; revenue schedules and payroll processingLead the annual budgeting and forecasting processDevelop financial models, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysisManage year-end and interim audit processesLead technical accounting discussions and ensure the appropriate accounting treatment of transactionsPrepare financial reporting for funding partners and other stakeholdersDeliver timely and accurate financial and regulatory reporting to lenders and funding partnersBuilt and lead a high performing finance team, improving capability and accountabilityTransform finance systems, processes and governance, strengthening internal controls and financial transparencySuitable candidates must have significant experience at Financial Controller level and be able to demonstrate previous experience of evaluating and enhancing financial processes to improve efficiency, strengthen controls and ensure the finance function is fully aligned with business objectives.Whilst there is a slight bias on the financial accounting side, there is also a more commercial aspect which they are keep to help you develop.This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and growing organisation where you can make a genuine impact.
