Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Financial Controller for a successful manufacturing organisation based in the Cardiff area.The Financial Controller is a key role in the senior leadership for this organisation. The RoleFinance Leadership: Direct the UK finance function, reporting straight to the Finance Director and Board.Strategic Partnering: Guide senior directors on commercial decisions, investment appraisals, and business cases.Team Development: Mentor, lead, and upskill Finance Team Leaders to foster a high-performance culture.Financial Control: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and long-term planning.Governance & Reporting: Ensure total compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS, SOX reporting, and statutory audits.Process Evolution: Drive continuous improvements in financial policies, systems, and cost-reduction strategies.🎯 What We NeedQualifications: Fully CIMA, ACA OR ACCA qualifiedExperience: Proven senior leadership experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.Technical Skills: Strong reporting background, audit managementSystems: Advanced MS Excel skills (Macros, Pivots, VLOOKUPs). SAP or Oracle experience is a plus.Leadership: Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.On Offer:A salary of up to £80,000 plus 7k Car plus benefits.
