قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجNewton-le-Willows | Office Based | Circa £70,000-£85,000 + Bonus + BenefitsThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to join a successful and growing group of companies based in Newton-le-Willows.Operating across the construction, plant and support services sectors.As part of its next phase of growth, the business is seeking a Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function and provide the financial leadership, reporting and commercial insight required to support continued expansion.This is a highly visible role working closely with the business owner and senior leadership team, offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact across the group.The RoleAs Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating financial activities across multiple group companies and supporting a decentralised finance and administration team.Key responsibilities will include:Producing timely and accurate monthly management accountsPreparing monthly consolidated accounts across the groupDeveloping weekly financial reporting and performance dashboardsManaging cash flow forecasting and liquidity planningDelivering insightful analysis on business performance, profitability and marginsDeveloping and maintaining job costing, utilisation and operational reportingOverseeing sales ledger, purchase ledger and balance sheet reconciliationsManaging month-end and year-end processesSupporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activitiesEnsuring compliance with VAT, CIS, payroll and statutory requirementsBusiness partnering with operational managers and directors across multiple sitesChallenging and influencing stakeholders to improve financial discipline and accountabilityIdentifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reportingThe PersonWe are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller who combines strong technical accounting expertise with commercial acumen and the confidence to influence operational teams.You will ideally possess:ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualificationExperience within construction, engineering, plant hire, contracting or a related sectorStrong multi-company or group reporting experienceExperience producing consolidated management accountsStrong cash flow forecasting and financial planning capabilityKnowledge of CIS, payroll, capital allowances and VAT domestic reverse chargeExcellent commercial and business partnering skillsThe ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholdersProven experience leading and developing finance teamsStrong Excel skills and confidence working with ERP/accounting systemsPackageSalary: £70,000 - £85,000 (dependent on experience)Bonus opportunity linked to business performanceBenefits packageOffice-based role in Newton-le-Willows
