Financial Controller

JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to provide financial oversight, performance analysis, and business insightsacross diverse business operations.The role will work closely with Finance and business stakeholders to ensure reliable financial reporting, effective financialcontrols, and strong business performance. The ideal candidate combines a solid finance foundation with strong analyticalthinking, business acumen, and the ability to provide meaningful insights to support management decision-making.This is a full-time position based in Dubai and requires relocation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial & Business Performance:Monitor and evaluate financial and business performance through P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.Analyze financial results, identify key performance drivers, risks, and improvement opportunities.Evaluate the effectiveness of financial resource utilization and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.Develop a strong understanding of different business models and their key financial and operational drivers.Financial & Management Reporting:Review and challenge financial and management reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis to ensure accuracy, reliability, and relevance.Provide timely financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.Identify significant variances, trends, and potential issues and recommend appropriate actions.Ensure financial deliverables are completed accurately and within required timelines.Internal Control & Risk Management:Review and strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and governance frameworks.Identify financial and operational risks, control weaknesses, and process gaps.Recommend and drive improvements to enhance control effectiveness and operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies, reporting standards, and governance requirements.Business Partnering:Work closely with departments and external partners to drive financial performance.Provide strategic recommendations on investments, funding, and capital allocation.Support and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.Constructively challenge business assumptions, financial plans, budgets, and forecasts when appropriate.4-7 years of relevant experience in Financial Control, Business Controlling, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering,Translate complex financial information into clear and actionable business insights.Audit/Advisory, or related areas.Support management on financial and business matters as required.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and IFRS.Guide and review the work of Finance team members where applicable.Good understanding of internal controls, risk management, and financial processes.Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with senior management.Experience in multinational organizations and/or Big 4 is preferred.Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ACA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent are an advantage.Fluent English and comfortable working in an international environment.What we offer:Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a salary package tailored to your skills and experience, along with performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive Benefits: We support your well-being with accommodation, meal allowances, and assistance with work visa processing.Work-Life Balance: Unwind with generous holiday and New Year bonuses.Top-Tier Equipment: Stay productive with the latest tools, including a MacBook and iPhone.Thriving Culture: Immerse yourself in a dynamic, inclusive work environment that fosters growth.Employee Support: Enjoy twice-yearly expense reimbursements for home visits.
